The Cuppa Club, held at the Haling Dene Centre in Penkridge on the last Wednesday in the month, 2.00 – 4.00pm. It’s the perfect place for Phoenix members like you to come together, make new friends, and have a nice afternoon.
At The Cuppa Club, we believe that the recipe for a nice afternoon, involves a cup of tea or coffee, a piece of homemade cake, and an assortment of exciting games and pastimes. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, we’ve got something for everyone.
Games Galore! Join us to play a variety of games, including Scrabble, Dominoes, Cribbage, Chess, Canasta, and many more. Don’t know how to play? No problem! Our friendly members are more than happy to teach you the ropes. Feel free to bring your favourite game along too, and share your passion with others.
The Cuppa Club isn’t just about games, it’s a place to connect. You can also knit and natter, participate in a book swap, or simply engage in a good old-fashioned chat. The choice is yours!
A Warm Invitation Typically, we have around 20-25 members who gather for a fantastic time. However, we believe that the more, the merrier! We warmly welcome anyone who’s curious and wants to give The Cuppa Club a try. Trust us; it’s much better than sitting at home alone!
Affordable Fun To cover the cost of room hire and ensure our club keeps running smoothly, we kindly request a small contribution of just £2.00 per person.
