We hope you are enjoying the summer and also some of our events and outings, of which we have had several so far this year, all of which have been much enjoyed by those taking part. We still have more to come during the remainder of the year—see the list overleaf.
Don’t forget we are essentially an activities club so if you are not already involved in some of our groups do give them a try. Most have spaces available—contact the organisers for details.
COFFEE ROTA: Copies of rota have been sent to those involved. New vol.unteers are always required to keep the rota going. Please get in touch with Linda Savage if you can help.
NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting will take place this year on Thurs. 13th October at 10.30 a.m. in the Peace Memorial Hall. There will be a few vacancies on the Committee this year, so if you wish to nominate anyone (or would like to put yourself forward) please notify the Secretary in writing by October 1st. The Club needs a strong committee to plan for the future and organise the events we all enjoy. So please give some serious thought as to whether you can help to do so, or know someone else who would be interested. (Please get their permission to nominate them).
