JANUARY TO JULY 2016

We hope you are enjoying the warm winter and long may it continue.During 2015 we enjoyed many interesting events which were well attended and much enjoyed by members.   Your committee is now planning the programme for 2016.  Many events  sell out quickly so for a better chance  of  booking, come along to coffee mornings, which are held on the second Thursday of each month at the Peace Memorial Hall, starting at 10.30.

Don’t forget we are essentially an activities club so if you’re not already involved in walking, badminton, art, table tennis, etc., do give them a try..  The new Games Afternoon (scrabble, chess, cards, Rummikub, etc)  has now moved to a new venue—the Community Room at the new Penkridge Fire Station.  (Contact Val Spink for details)

Most of the above activities have spaces available if you wish toparticipate.  Please contact the organisers or a member of the

Committee for further information.

COFFEE ROTA

The making and serving of coffee at our monthly meetings is done by  volunteers on a rota basis.   Some of  the stalwarts on the rota have now been doing this for  a long time and  need a well-earned rest.  So, if some of our newer members would like to join the rota they would be most welcome!
