We hold a coffee Morning every second Thursday of the month. The committee meet first between 9:30 and 10:30 to discuss the way forward for the club. See the page ‘Next Meeting Agenda’. Club members then arrive for a 10:30 start to find out what is happening within the club, planned events, ideas, etc. But most importantly its a chance to catch up with friends and have a good laugh.

The success of the walking group is solely down to Derek’s organisation and the people who lead walks. This success however is at risk because not enough people who do the walks volunteer to lead a walk. In fact there is a strong possibility that some Tuesday’s may not have a leader and the walk will be cancelled. If the burden is shared out the load is eased. If you have not led a walk before contact Derek who will help and advise you.
All walks start from designated start point at 10:30am Prompt.
You MUST contact the leader beforehand to check car park location.
Mud and stiles are to be expected and boots are strongly recommended.
Walks are generally between 4 & 6 miles long. L = Bring Lunch FA = Food Available
Car sharing reduces costs and parking problems. Passengers are expected to contribute.
If you are not sure where the walk is click here:-
Speakers Corner takes place about every two months and usually the meetings are held at Haling Dene on a Tuesday afternoon. These events will only cost £2.50 which includes tea/coffee and biscuits. They are always interesting, often funny and sometimes include demonstrations.

For further information on any of the above events, contact Meryl George (01785 713180) or Anne Smith (01785 715120)
Val and Harold Spink run a games afternoon from 2:00 till 4:00 on the 2nd Monday of every month at the New Firestation, Penkridge.
